Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will:
  • Perform installation, assembly, and commissioning of wind turbine components, including blades, nacelles, and towers.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards while working at heights and handling high-voltage systems.
  • Execute testing, quality checks, and inspections to ensure optimal turbine performance.
  • Assist with crane operations and rigging during turbine erection.
  • Adhere to project-specific risk assessments, SWMS, and permit-to-work processes.
About You:
  • Previous experience as a Wind Turbine Technician or in a similar role in renewable energy or construction.
  • Strong understanding of wind turbine systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as Cert III in Electrotechnology, Mechanical Trade, or similar trade certifications.
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space, and High Voltage training (current or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and specifications.
  • A commitment to safe work practices and team collaboration.
