Job Title: Logistics Site Manager
Location: VIC
Project: Solar Farm (BESS + Substation)

Employment Type: Fixed Term / Full-Time

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Logistics Site Manager to oversee and coordinate all logistics and material handling activities for a large-scale Solar Farm project, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Substation components. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials, equipment, and personnel on-site while maintaining high safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement logistics plans to support construction activities.
  • Coordinate the delivery, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
  • Manage on-site logistics teams, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and subcontractors to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Oversee inventory control, ensuring materials are available as required.
  • Monitor site traffic management and implement efficient site access plans.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and procedures.
  • Report regularly on logistics performance, identifying risks and proposing mitigations.
  • Support site management teams with planning and coordination activities.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in logistics and site management within the renewable energy, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations in solar farms, BESS, or substations.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate effectively between teams.
  • Knowledge of Australian workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in logistics planning software and MS Office Suite.
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Project Management is highly desirable.
  • Experience working on large-scale renewable energy projects.
  • Familiarity with transport and site management regulations in Victoria.
